1) Both components reach a Kannauj entrepreneur only through a DST-approved incubator; there is no NIDHI centre in Kannauj and FFDC is not an incubator, so treat this as a Kanpur/Noida route. 2) EIR requires a science/engineering degree or diploma and a 'technology business idea'; ideas with 'no or marginal technology innovation' are discouraged - traditional attar distillation without a technology component is effectively excluded. 3) EIR is for individuals without other income; it cannot be combined with any salary, fellowship or another company promotership (>10%). 4) EIR fellowship is Rs 10,000-30,000 per month at the TBI's discretion; the Rs 30,000 is a ceiling, not an entitlement. 5) SSP is not a grant to the startup: it is a soft loan (interest up to repo rate, repayable in 3-5 years) or equity dilution to the incubator; the Rs 1 crore cap is 'exceptional' and typical tickets are Rs 10-25 lakh. 6) SSP requires an Indian-registered company (proprietorships/partnerships typical of Kannauj attar units are ineligible), 51% Indian promoter holding, 3 months' prior incubation, and a startup may be seed-supported only once under NIDHI-SSP. 7) Preference to startups with no prior Go
